Written at the beginning of 2020, Lessons is a song of gratitude for my family, friends and loved ones. And a homage to dear friends and loved ones who are no longer with us. Seeing the hard times as blessings and lessons that shape us into the people we are now. This song helped me when I was grieving the loss of a best friend at the beginning of the year and I want to put it out in to the world now with hope it may bring light to others just the same.
